SPECTRAL REFLECTIONS

When sunlight strikes airborne water particles it can sometimes bounce around inside the droplets, break into its component colors, and produce a glorious rainbow. This rainbow burst into view not long before sunset on January 8, 2003, and is reflected beautifully in waters of Southern California's Chula Vista Marina.
